As a Payroll Manager at TUI, you'll lead our payroll function and ensure excellence across all payroll operations, managing a team of four to deliver accurate, timely and compliant payroll while continuously improving processes and collaborating closely with Finance, IT and HR People Services to maintain high-quality delivery, data integrity and employee satisfaction.

ABOUT THE JOB

  • You'll manage and develop a team of 4 payroll professionals, ensuring all payroll tasks run smoothly and efficiently while fostering employee engagement and a digital culture.

  • You'll ensure accurate monthly salary processing including shadow payroll, coordinating various insurances and social securities while working closely with brokers, insurers and authorities.

  • You'll collaborate with Finance, IT and HR People Services to develop and improve payroll processes, ensuring all processes are clearly documented and identifying opportunities for automation and efficiency gains.

  • You'll take ownership of monthly, quarterly and year-end closing work for TUI Group, managing social security, financial accounting and audit requirements while ensuring full compliance with Swiss and international payroll regulations.

  • You'll lead or collaborate on payroll-related projects, supporting continuous improvement initiatives and wider HR and Finance transformation projects.

  • You'll help increase the quality of monthly payroll and overall data accuracy through meticulous attention to detail and effective process management.

ABOUT YOU

  • You have proven experience in a similar payroll position with professional payroll qualification in Switzerland or equivalent experience, and international payroll knowledge.

  • You possess excellent knowledge of MS Office, SAP and Employee Central (EC) with the ability to work efficiently and precisely, even under pressure.

  • You demonstrate analytical skills with the ability to process large amounts of data and meticulous attention to detail.

  • You have excellent communication skills (verbal and written) in German and English with sound decision-making abilities.

  • You are organised, work well under pressure, and can manage multiple priorities in a dynamic international environment.

  • You show flexibility and adaptability with a supportive team player attitude, along with confidence and clear communication, and additional languages beyond German and English are beneficial.
