ABOUT THE JOB
- Responsible for the commercial development of the cruise business in Greece for key clients
- Preparation of financial and content proposals according to client specifications and deadlines
- Achieve competitive rates and attractive margins with clients through client negotiations, working closely with the Offer team and through understanding the market dynamics in the region
- Work with the Offer team to discuss and develop ideas for Shorex, Pre and Post, Overland programs
- Work with the Greek commercial development team to grow the region through client relationships and identifying growth opportunities
- Communicate with cruise line clients concerning ongoing Requests for Proposal as well as ad hoc quotation requests
- Acquire new cruise business by participating in RFPs through farming as well as hunting new clients/opportunities
- Provide ongoing guidance and support to the Operations & Port Delivery teams on ad hoc quotations
- Working with the Operations & Port Delivery teams to ensure alignment between quoted and delivered services
- Monitor and track the financial sustainability of the business in Greece, through tools such as Salesforce as well as strategise on how to increase profitability
- Ownership of the communication and relationships with cruise clients that visit the region
ABOUT YOU
- Ability to negotiate and communicate effectively in English, both written and verbally
- Destination knowledge
- Customer management experience is essential. Assertiveness and ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Relevant experience in cruise handling
- Initiative and strong communication skills
- Organised and methodical approach to the execution of assigned tasks
- Bachelor’s degree, preferable
