Join our Operations & Delivery team as a Port Delivery Team Leader in Barcelona, where you will be responsible for delivering smooth Port Operations (Turnaround & Shorex) overseeing the delivery of services, team & staff management, and all related logistics.
Intercruises Shoreside & Port Services is a TUI owned specialist business providing cruise ship handling services to cruise lines in destinations throughout the world. You will be assisting cruise lines and other clients on their daily operations.
This is a locally employed position. You must have the right to work in Spain and live in or close to Barcelona before applying.

ABOUT THE JOB
- Supervise and coordinate pre operation, in situ and post operation activities across ports, airports and destination locations.
- Lead, support and motivate local operational teams, ensuring staff are briefed, trained and prepared for daily operations and peak activity periods.
- Plan and allocate staffing, transport and supplier resources in line with ship schedules, operational demand and service requirements.
- Act as the first escalation point for operational issues, incidents or last minute changes, ensuring timely resolution with minimal impact to guests and clients.
- Maintain regular communication with cruise line operations teams, suppliers, port and airport authorities and internal stakeholders.
- Ensure all operational procedures, safety standards, SLAs and brand guidelines are consistently followed.
- Oversee accurate completion of operational documentation, call closure and invoicing data in line with internal procedures.
- Support operational delivery during congested dates, strikes, inaugural calls and other exceptional or high impact situations.
ABOUT YOU
- Experience in operations, logistics, tourism, cruise, transport or hospitality environments.
- Proven ability to supervise teams and deliver results in fast paced, operational settings.
- Strong problem solving skills, with resilience to ambiguity and operational pressure.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, in English and Spanish.
- High level of organization, attention to detail and customer focus.
- Comfortable working flexible hours, including peak operational days when required.
- Digitally confident and aligned with TUI’s ways of working and continuous improvement culture.
