Join TUI Hotels & Resorts as General Manager, where you will hold full responsibility for the overall leadership, operational excellence and commercial success of the hotel. You will shape the strategic direction of the property, lead a high-performing leadership team and deliver exceptional guest experiences alongside sustainable business performance.
This hotel is moving into the TUI management portfolio at the end of 2026 under the TUI BLUE brand.
Location: TUI BLUE La Conchiglia, Capo-Vaticano, Calabria, Italy.

ABOUT THE ROLE
- Develop and monitor financial and operational plans to support the hotel’s overall objectives and performance.
- Lead the annual budget and business planning process with the commercial team and group controlling, including recommendations for capital improvements that enhance the hotel asset and strengthen brand performance.
- Apply TUI Green Building Guidelines and support delivery of our sustainability goals.
- Oversee guest service and hotel operations to ensure a consistently high standard of delivery in line with TUI BLUE brand expectations.
- Ensure TUI BLUE quality and service standards are maintained across all areas of the hotel, including presentation, maintenance and cleanliness.
- Lead commercial and marketing activity, including yield management, to maximise revenue, RevPAR and occupancy.
- Drive food and beverage performance through effective use of outlet and event space, alongside efficient cost management.
- Work closely with HR and Talent Acquisition to ensure effective staffing levels aligned to business volume and productivity needs.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key community stakeholders to ensure a visible local presence.
- Provide regular and ad hoc updates to the Global Hotel Operations team on the hotel’s financial and operational performance.
- Oversee hotel security to maintain a safe and secure environment for guests, employees and assets.
- Create a positive working environment and support employee development through coaching, mentoring and performance feedback.
- Foster the TUI values and culture across the hotel to promote positive employee and guest experiences.
- Act as a visible ambassador for the TUI brand, representing the hotel to guests, owners, developers and internal stakeholders.
ABOUT YOU
- Fluent written and verbal Italian is preferred. Fluent English is required plus additional European languages would be advantageous.
- Proven experience as a Hotel General Manager, Assistant General Manager or in a comparable senior hotel leadership role with strong knowledge of hotel operations.
- Strong interpersonal and relationship-building skills, with experience managing regional and corporate stakeholders.
- Able to build credibility, inspire confidence and influence change across hotel and corporate stakeholders.
- Strong financial and commercial acumen, with a track record of driving performance and operational efficiency.
- Good understanding of the leisure hotel market, including key competitors and wider industry trends.
- Confident using hotel systems and technology, with Property Management System experience, preferably Opera.
- Keeps up to date with industry trends, market developments and evolving leisure guest expectations, using these insights to inform decision-making.
