ABOUT THE JOB

 

As a key member of our Nordic Finance team, you'll take ownership of crucial financial processes for TUI Denmark while collaborating with colleagues across the business. In this role, you will:

 

  • Drive our financial reporting cycles and take full responsibility for Danish annual reports, tax returns and corporation tax payments, ensuring complete compliance with all regulations

 

  • Manage mandatory reporting to Danish authorities, industry organisations, and handle Danish payroll accounting with precision and attention to detail

 

  • Coordinate insurance matters across TUI Nordic in partnership with TUI Group, maintaining comprehensive coverage that protects our business and people

 

  • Handle transfer pricing documentation and ensure all relevant contracts are properly established and maintained while taking accounting ownership for specific areas within our Nordic tour operations

 

  • Lead and contribute to various projects, with particular focus on identifying potential tax implications and driving internal efficiency initiatives

 

  • Build strong working relationships with colleagues across the Nordic Finance team and external partners, including tax authorities and auditors, to ensure seamless financial operations 

 

 

ABOUT YOU

 

  • You bring a relevant Finance-related degree (Bachelor's or higher preferred) along with proven experience in similar senior financial controller roles where you've demonstrated your expertise and leadership

 

  • You possess comprehensive knowledge of accounting principles, Danish corporate tax regulations, and VAT requirements, allowing you to navigate complex financial landscapes with confidence

 

  • You have solid experience creating financial statements for Group companies and efficiently managing month-end and year-end close processes with precision and attention to detail

 

  • You demonstrate excellent accounting software skills combined with strong numerical and analytical abilities that enable you to interpret data effectively and provide valuable business insights

 

  • You communicate fluently in both Danish and English, expressing complex financial concepts clearly in writing and conversation – an essential skill for working across our international business

  • You thrive in collaborative environments, building positive relationships with diverse stakeholders across different countries and functions to achieve shared goals and drive business success
