As UK Tax Manager you will help advise and guide the UK business to ensure it meets its compliance and reporting obligations in a timely and efficient manner. You will partner with the business to ensure initiatives and ideas are undertaken in a tax efficient way to help the UK Group manage its significant tax liabilities.

ABOUT THE JOB
- Manage UK corporate tax compliance, including preparation and review of computations for HMRC
- Optimise the UK Group’s tax position across group relief, CIR, capital allowances, and CFCs
- Respond to tax-related queries from the business and HMRC, while improving processes and controls
- Support tax accounting for statutory accounts and year-end reporting for the UK Group
- Help manage the UK effective tax rate (ETR), cash taxes, and interactions with external auditors
- Ensure accurate tax calculations and disclosures in UK financial statements
- Gain exposure to a wide range of tax topics across the diverse UK Group
- Support the UK Head of Tax and build strong relationships across the UK business and Group Tax team
ABOUT YOU
- Finance/tax qualified ACA and/or CTA
- Strong UK corporate tax and tax accounting knowledge
- Ability to explain complex tax issues to a variety of audiences across the business
- IT skills: Microsoft Office with experience of Alphatax/Onsource and tax reporting software an advantage
- Good project management skills with the ability to prioritise and manage workload
- Good interpersonal and communication skills
