ABOUT THE JOB

  • You'll manage and expand TUI's in-country operations, ensuring quality levels across local ground operations, supplier relationships, and sales actions.
  • Contracting touristic services is key as you'll put together our programs and annual tariffs, working with the centralised product/loading team to define deliverables and loading plans.
  • We need you to maintain strong supplier relationships, engaging in constant contact with key partners to secure well-valued and up-to-date product offerings.
  • You'll supervise booking operations generated by HQ, programming and monitoring services according to our quality standards while acting as the product reference for clients and internal teams.
  • Creating the Commercial Plan alongside the Regional Manager and Market Managers is essential to meet sales budgets through presentations, door-to-door trips, and trade show participation.
  • As our senior in-country representative, you'll handle any incidents or emergencies, communicate political, social, or economic situations affecting operations, and ensure suppliers and teams meet TUI requirements and company policies.

 

ABOUT YOU

  • You bring proven experience in operations, negotiations, and commercial leadership within the tourism industry.
  • Your comprehensive understanding of Chile's inbound tourism activities, suppliers, and trends sets you apart, along with experience operating programs in the country's main regions.
  • We're looking for a strong commercial mindset with successful negotiation skills and a track record of closing deals and building strategic partnerships.
  • Your excellent communication skills in both written and spoken English and Spanish enable you to connect with diverse teams and partners.
  • You demonstrate customer orientation, leadership, planning abilities, and thrive when working in teams.
  • Understanding of digital components and new industry standards especially API-based connectivity, channel managers, and reservation technologies will give you an advantage.
