Since October 2012, we have been offering IHK-recognised training as a sports and fitness sales representative (IHK) and fitness and health trainer (IFAA) in cooperation with the IFAA, with practical phases taking place at our clubs around the world.
This is the ideal combination of exciting training and wanderlust. As a sports and fitness sales representative, you will learn a mix of theory, further training and practical skills. In 36 months – divided into attendance phases in Hanover and distance learning phases in one of our clubs worldwide – you will be prepared for the recognised IHK final examination to become a sports and fitness sales representative. During the attendance phases, you will be trained by the IFAA Vocational Training Academy: 10 high-quality trainer training courses and all commercial topics will be taught in a practical manner. You will spend your distance learning phases at one of our clubs. There, you will be supervised and supported by our employees and integrated into everyday club life.
To get started as an apprentice sports and fitness specialist at ROBINSON, you should bring the following with you:
- General university entrance qualification and a minimum age of 18
- Passion for group fitness classes (e.g. step aerobics) and fitness training
- Ideally, initial experience in the hotel industry or in a gym through internships or similar
- Willingness to live and work for several months a year over a period of three years, both in Hanover and in clubs abroad
- Strong social skills and enjoyment of working with people in a multicultural environment
- Willingness to learn and a high level of motivation
