**We have a vacancy for an internship at our Hanover office from 1st September 2024 for 3-6 months, preferably a mandatory internship. The position offers the possibility of mobile working with an office presence as required *

 

As an Intern (m/f/d) TUI Hotels & Resorts Portfolio Management & Strategy you will mainly work with Tableau (BI tool) to analyze and prepare data and information, create (sustainability) reports and dashboards and develop strategic recommendations

 

ABOUT THE POSITION

  • Independent creation of analyses and dashboards by using the BI tool Tableau
  • Data preparation and maintenance of databases as the basis for hotel portfolio and sustainability/CO2 reporting
  • Contribution to the strategic development of information and reporting structures within the company sector
  • Research and information preparation on relevant sustainability, hotel portfolio, and destination topics
  • Participation in the creation of professional presentations and performance reports for management, as well as ad-hoc strategy inquiries


 

ABOUT YOU

  • Studies in data science, business informatics, economics or tourism with a focus on business intelligence / data analytics, at least in the 4th semester, preferably with basic knowledge in the areas of strategy, finance and sustainability

  • You have experience in using business intelligence / data visualisation tools (Tableau or PowerBI)

  • Initial practical experience in data science, finance, sustainability or strategy desirable

  • Very good knowledge of Microsoft Office (Excel and PowerPoint)

  • Fluent written and spoken German and English

  • Strong interest in the tourism industry and analytical issues

  • Enthusiastic personality with a structured and creative approach to complex issues

  • Flexibility, resilience and strong team spirit

  • Strong analytical, problem-solving and organisational skills

  • You have a proactive and self-motivated mindset

  • A passion for learning new things
