ABOUT THE JOB

Tourism is one of the world’s largest industries and the main force for development and prosperity in many parts of the world. Every holiday leaves an impression – in our hearts, but also on the environment. We use our scale and influence for the sustainable transformation of travel. We, the TUI Group Sustainability team, lead the work on this, based on our TUI Sustainability Agenda - People, Planet, Progress. In order to deliver on this, you will be part of this amazing team and work on the following: 

 

  • Sustainability Reporting
    • Support our Team in the preparation for CSRD reporting (EU Corporate Sustainability Reporting Directive)
    • Collaborate with team members working on a variety of sustainability topics to gather relevant information with a focus on Climate Change (ESRS E1) but also about Water (ESRS E3) and other relevant sustainability matters (e.g. Pollution, Biodiversity).
    • Create presentations and training material regarding CSRD and ESRS, as well as other reporting requirements

 

  • Sustainability Supply Chain Management
    • Support in maintaining the Supply Chain Risk Management System
    • Assist in conducting human rights risk assessments for own operations and supply chain
    • Assist in the development of training measures related to supply chain due diligence
    • Enhance internal communication regarding supply chain due diligence and human rights
    • Research relevant legal developments regarding human rights and due diligence in supply chains
    • Create presentation material regarding sustainable supply chain management

 

  • General
    • Support in implementing other strategic projects, work with the project management team together and help create communication materials, presentation slides & preparing meetings.  

 

ABOUT YOU 

  • You are completing a bachelor's or master's degree in the field of environmental or sustainability management, business, tourism or similar disciplines. 

  • You have initial practical experience in the area of tourism or sustainability.

  • You have an aptitude for working effectively with colleagues across different business functions, countries, and cultural backgrounds, and you thrive in virtual and international team environments.

  • You have a hands-on work mentality with analytical and problem-solving skills. 

  • You are open-minded, curious and a lifelong learner. 

  • You have excellent communication skills in English (spoken and written). Knowledge of German is an advantage.

  • You are familiar with Microsoft Office, especially PowerPoint and Excel.
