ABOUT THE JOB

  • Tourism is one of the largest industries worldwide and plays a key role in fostering development and prosperity, with every holiday leaving an impression – in our hearts, but also on the environment.
  • We leverage our scale and influence to drive the sustainable transformation of tourism, and you'll contribute to strategic projects based on our sustainability agenda that advance the company's transformation.
  • Depending on workload, you'll contribute to the implementation and further development of sustainability reporting, particularly in the context of regulatory requirements such as CSRD/ESRS.
  • You'll support the collection, preparation and quality assurance of ESG-relevant data and information, as well as topics related to human rights and environmental due diligence in the supply chain.
  • Supporting our participation in external ESG ratings and rankings, you'll help complete questionnaires, compile relevant evidence, and analyse rating results to derive potential areas for improvement.
  • You'll contribute to TUI Group's ISO 14001 environmental management system, support cross-functional projects, and prepare presentations and communication materials on current ESG, reporting and supply chain topics.

 

ABOUT YOU

  • You're currently enrolled in a Bachelor's or Master's program in Environmental or Sustainability Management, Business, Tourism, or a related field.
  • Initial practical experience in tourism or sustainability is an advantage, and you're interested in topics such as ESG, sustainable transformation, reporting, and human rights.
  • Collaborating effectively with colleagues from various business areas, countries, and cultural backgrounds comes naturally to you, and you thrive in virtual and international team environments.
  • With your hands-on working mentality, you bring well-developed analytical and problem-solving skills to the table.
  • Open-mindedness, curiosity, and lifelong learning define who you are.
  • You have fluent communication skills in English (spoken and written), with German being a plus but not a requirement, and you're proficient in Microsoft Office, especially PowerPoint and Excel.
