For TUI AG in Hanover, we are looking for a student assistant (m/f/d) in the Corporate Finance department for up to 12 months, starting immediately, on a 20-hour-per-week basis.

 

As a working student in Group Corporate Finance you will be part of a key and high performing finance function within TUI Group with direct exposure to senior finance directors and TUI management. The position represents a great opportunity to develop financial hard but also soft skills in a fast-pace and hands-on Corporate Finance environment in an agile and growing company with an open mindset and culture. The ideal duration is 12 months, starting as soon as possible with 20 working hours per week. The place of working is Hannover (headquarter) with the opportunity of mobile working.

ABOUT THE JOB

  • Liquidity Management – Assist in analysing and monitoring the Group’s liquidity. Collecting/ analysing cash forecasts from business segments and consolidating them for a Group view. Supporting in producing regular senior management liquidity reports and updating a daily liquidity dashboard.

  • Financial Profile & Modelling – Understand the Group’s financial profile (P&L, BS, CFS) and support the team in financial modelling, analyses and presentation thereof.
  • Financial Analysis – Provide support in analysing quarter-end and forecast activities and translate results & insights into (Board-level / Investor Relations) presentations. 
  • Scenario & Projects – Undertake scenario & project-based analyses across the Group. Complete ad-hoc tasks for multiple stakeholders (incl. Senior Management). Assist in Group financing projects (if applicable).
  • Process improvements – Assist in improving existing processes and increasing financial transparency. 

 

ABOUT YOU

  • Master-Student [or Bachelor Student in final year] of a commercial subject, preferably with a focus on finance

  • Strong analytical skills, with the ability to get into the details, while also understanding the big picture

  • Good presentation skills in translating results into professional presentations

  • Advanced English oral and written communication skills. Knowledge of German would be a plus

  • High proficiency in using Microsoft Office, especially Excel and PPT

  • Strong ownership for deliverables with ability to work under pressure and to tight deadlines

  • High motivation to work in an international finance team in a fast-paced environment

  • Open-minded and proactive personality who wants to learn and make change happen
