RPA Developer Lead

As RPA Developer Team Manager, you will lead and mentor a team of RPA Junior Developer and RPA Developer, ensuring the successful delivery of automation solutions aligned with business goals. You will oversee the full lifecycle of RPA development—from design to deployment—while promoting best practices and technical excellence. In collaboration with stakeholders and IT, you will ensure compliance, optimize processes, and drive continuous improvement through intelligent automation.

RESPONSIBILITIES 

Team Leadership & Management

• Lead, mentor, and manage a team of RPA developers.
• Develop team objectives, allocate tasks, and ensure timely project delivery.
• Provide technical guidance and oversee automation development.
• Conduct training and upskilling programs to enhance team capabilities.

RPA Development & Implementation

• Oversee the design, development, testing, and deployment of RPA bots.
• Ensure automation solutions are scalable, efficient, and maintainable.
• Collaborate with business analysts to understand automation requirements.
• Establish best practices for coding, testing, and documentation.

Project Management

• Observe multiple RPA projects, ensuring alignment with business goals.
• Monitor project progress, risks, and resolve technical challenges.
• Optimize automation processes to enhance efficiency and ROI.
• Stakeholder & Cross-Functional Collaboration
• Work closely with business stakeholders, IT teams, and process owners.
• Communicate RPA project updates, benefits, and challenges to leadership.
• Coordinate with IT to ensure security, compliance, and infrastructure support.
• Identify and evaluate new automation opportunities.

Governance, Compliance & Continuous Improvement

• Ensure RPA governance, documentation, and coding standards.
• Oversee compliance with security policies, IT regulations, and data privacy laws.
• Monitor and maintain RPA bots for optimal performance and issue resolution.
• Adopt and integrate AI, machine learning, and intelligent automation enhancements.

SKILLS / EXPERIENCE / QUALIFICATIONS 

• Bachelor's/Master’s degree in Computer Science, IT, Engineering, or similar qualification.
• 5+ years of experience in RPA or other development team management.
• Expertise in RPA tools such as UiPath, Automation Anywhere, Blue Prism, or Power Automate.
• Excellent leadership, problem-solving, and stakeholder management skills.
• Familiarity with Agile, Scrum, or DevOps methodologies.
• Programming skills (Python, C#, JavaScript, VB.NET, SQL, etc.).
• Experience with APIs, databases, and system integrations.
• RPA certifications (UiPath Advanced Developer, Blue Prism Developer, etc.). Preferred Qualification.
