This role sits within Analytics Sales Platform of our Customer Analytics & Data Solutions Division.



As a Senior Digital Analyst, you'll deliver advanced analytics and insights that drive business performance and customer experience improvements within a specific domain at TUI. Working within the Customer Analytics & Data Solutions function, you'll conduct complex analyses, develop reporting solutions, and translate data into actionable recommendations while serving as a subject matter expert, providing analytical guidance to stakeholders and mentoring junior team members.

ABOUT THE JOB

 

  • You'll conduct complex data analysis to identify trends, patterns, and opportunities that drive business value, analyzing customer journeys, conversion funnels, and identifying key performance drivers.
  • We'll look to you to design and maintain dashboards and reporting solutions, creating interactive visualizations while ensuring data accuracy and automating processes where possible.
  • You'll translate complex analytical findings into clear narratives and actionable recommendations, developing business cases and communicating technical concepts to non-technical audiences.
  • Serving as a subject matter expert, you'll provide guidance on analytical approaches, answer complex questions, and mentor junior analysts on technical skills.
  • Your collaboration skills will be essential as you work with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements, develop analytical plans, and align analytics work with business objectives.
  • The role involves implementing process improvements, documenting methodologies, creating reusable templates, and standardizing analytical approaches to enhance delivery efficiency.
  • You'll proactively identify opportunities for analytics to add value, proposing and leading initiatives that drive performance improvements and suggesting new metrics to track.
  • Staying current with analytics tools and industry trends will be important as you continuously develop skills, apply new techniques, and share knowledge with team members.

 

 

ABOUT YOU

 

  • You have a Bachelor's degree in a quantitative field (Statistics, Mathematics, Economics, Computer Science, Business Analytics) or equivalent experience, with proven experience in data analytics, business intelligence, or related fields.
  • You bring strong analytical skills with the ability to work with complex datasets and derive meaningful insights, along with proficiency in analytics and visualization tools like Tableau, Power BI, and Google Analytics.
  • You have experience working in a data warehouse environment (Snowflake, BigQuery) with the ability to schedule pipelines. Experience in dbt, dataform is useful, as is any knowledge of ETL tooling. 
  • You possess excellent experience with SQL and other data query languages, with a basic understanding of predictive statistical analytics techniques like regression and clustering.
  • You have excellent communication skills with the ability to present complex findings clearly and experience with data storytelling and communicating results to senior leaders.
  • You demonstrate strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently while managing multiple priorities in a collaborative environment.
  • Experience in travel, hospitality, or e-commerce industries, and knowledge of statistical methods and their business applications would be advantageous.
  • Experience with programming languages (R, Python) for data analysis, understanding of digital analytics, CRM analytics, customer analytics, A/B testing, data visualization best practices, and data governance principles would be beneficial.
