Working within the Marketing Platform team you will operate as Senior Data Analyst to enable direct marketing through best practice data management and profiling techniques. You will provide key insights to inform our strategy for customer data capture and management for CRM marketing activity to ensure we maintain a consistent high level of data quality and grow the size of our contactable customer base.

ABOUT THE JOB

 

  • Working closely with the TUI Data Services team, provide clear definition of data attribute, event and event property requirements needed to enable marketing customer journeys. Ensure these requirements are well briefed and provide ongoing clarifications and support as required.
  • Act as TUI’s subject matter expert in the customer data required to power CRM marketing campaigns through Braze and provide support to the Marketing Platform product team with data requirements to enable email and mobile CRM campaigns.
  • Support the change management process for data into Braze; understanding and triaging new data requests and providing clear recommendations for how that data should be captured and managed to ensure the relevant data is available and mapped correctly for campaign audience selection with accountability for data UAT.
  • Support the maintenance of a customer data dictionary and catalogue of operational data capabilities to describe the format, structure and location of all relevant customer data attributes required for CRM marketing activities.
  • Build and maintain a regular pipeline of reporting for customer data required to power CRM marketing campaigns. You will provide clear and transparent updates on data quality, data attribute completeness and data timeliness.
  • Support the Digital Product Manager (Customer Data) to define TUI’s strategy for marketing permission capture and management to ensure TUI can maximise the contactability of the customer base.
  • Work across and influence stakeholders through Group Digital Platforms (App, Service platform and customer insight platforms) to drive initiatives that increase our marketing permission capture and customer profile completeness.
  • Work with Legal, Privacy and Data Security teams to ensure that CRM are fully compliant with GDPR and other relevant legislation for the capture, storage and use of customer data.

 

ABOUT YOU 

 

  • Comfortable working in a large pan European business, where some travel will be required. Fluent in English, ability in other languages desirable but not essential (German, French & Dutch)
  • Strong stakeholder engagement, able to develop trusted working relationships across business boundaries
  • Experience working using agile methodologies in digital product development
  • Strong communications and influencing skills, able to analyse and communicate technical concepts to create practical solutions and influence decisions 
  • Experience of leading the development and governance of customer data in large organisations, ideally in a multi-national, mult-channel business with large and complex data sets
  • Ability to present complex analysis and metrics in a format that is easy to digest and ensures key decisions required or insights are understood.
  • Strong understanding of data models, data transformations and identity management, who can work with technicians and subject experts to improve overall data management.
  • Proven track record of working with marketing technology, and ideally multi-channel marketing platforms (ideally Braze but also Salesforce, Adobe, EMarsys, IBM etc.)
