ABOUT THE JOB

 

  • You'll be the absolute expert in your country's/region's local Employee Relations, supporting both HR and Business leaders with various ER scenarios including dismissal, performance issues, co-worker disputes, absence, disciplinary procedures, harassment, and sickness.
  • You'll provide coaching to managers, giving credible advice that balances our People strategy, commercial needs, reputation risk, financial risk and TUI values.
  • We'll rely on you to keep up to date with current and forthcoming employment legislation and policies, helping interpret and communicate these to the business.
  • You'll participate in union meetings where applicable, supporting co-determination on individual matters and drawing up organizational design packs for local work councils.
  • Working collaboratively across the wider HR Function, you'll knowledge-share, ensure consistency, and identify opportunities for innovation and process simplification.
  • Your role will contribute to TUI's wellbeing and diversity, equity and inclusion agendas, ensuring decisions and working practices are fair and free from bias.

 

ABOUT YOU

 

  • You have previous HR experience in a multi-tasked and fast-paced environment with broad, up-to-date knowledge of employment legislation that you can apply logically to real-world situations.
  • Your excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, allow you to build great relationships and influence others effectively.
  • Working with ambiguity comes naturally to you, and you're passionate about your own learning and development.
  • You have proven experience in leading projects, with the ability to prioritize and plan your time effectively.
  • You hold a CIPD qualification or  demonstrate equivalent hands-on experience
