ABOUT THE JOB

 

  • Take the helm of our cruise social media channels – planning, creating, and publishing content that makes a splash, while supporting our Social Media Manager in keeping everything shipshape with our marketing strategy.
  • Work together with our contact teams to build your cruise knowledge and spot engagement opportunities, ensuring service excellence across all platforms while monitoring social communities as part of our wider sentiment tracking.
  • Create captivating content including TikToks and short-form videos, while supporting influencer campaigns that showcase the best of Marella Cruises through authentic voices.
  • Organise creative competitions to surprise and delight our customers, building brand loyalty and engagement across our platforms.
  • Create and submit creative briefs to the content team while collecting user-generated content and participate in social shoots to help fill content gaps with authentic cruise moments.
  • Deliver weekly, monthly and quarterly reporting on platform performance, highlighting successes and identifying growth opportunities for our social channels.
  • Stay current with social media trends and competitor activity, conducting regular channel audits to implement learnings in future content.
  • Support the social crisis team during business incidents, working on the frontline of customer response, with flexibility to travel a few times throughout the year to experience our product firsthand.

 

 

ABOUT YOU

 

  • You've got brilliant communication skills with a natural flair for writing and an eagle eye for detail.
  • Savvy with social media systems and tools (knowledge of Adobe, Google, Smartly and Emplifi would be a bonus, but we can help you learn the ropes).
  • You understand what makes social media tick and can transform data insights into content that truly connects.
  • Thrive working independently and can juggle multiple tasks in our fast-paced cruise world, adapting quickly when priorities change course.
  • Bring sunshine and creative spark to everything you do as a customer-focused team player who knows when to challenge, influence and negotiate effectively.
  • Comfortable navigating MS Office including Word, Excel & PowerPoint.
