As an Airport Service Officer, you will be responsible for managing the entire airport passenger journey including checking in TUI passengers and their luggage, ensuring safe and timely boarding and handling other self-handling tasks of the flights within  your shift. As the requirement of the role fits around our flying programme, shifts may start as early as 03:00 and finish around 18:00, but this may be subject to change. You should also expect to work weekends and public holidays as required. In this role, you’ll report to the Station Account Manager. This opportunity is being offered on a 6 month Fixed Term Contract basis.

ABOUT THE JOB

  • Coordination, support and monitoring of the Self-Handling activities for TUI flights.
  • Ensuring a smooth handling process so that our flights can depart on time.
  • Inspecting and verifying passenger documents, both at check-in and at boarding.
  • Registering passenger information and travel documents in TUI’s departure control system.
  • Delay management, helping passengers to find a solution quickly and efficiently.
  • Ensuring support in the Lost & Found process.
  • Selling airline tickets (e.g. for travelers who want to leave at the last minute).
  • Answering our customers’ questions and help them in the best of your ability.
  • Processing incoming requests, comments and problems related to sales, booking, and providing information in order to propose the most appropriate solution as quickly and correctly as possible.
