Head of Security Operations

Lead TUI's real-time cyber defence and resilience capabilities as our Head of Security Operations. You'll shape our SecOps strategy while ensuring our readiness to handle major cyber incidents and manage vulnerability exposures across our global operations.

ABOUT THE JOB

• You'll develop and execute the security operations strategy and operating model that aligns with TUI's business objectives and risk appetite, setting strategic roadmaps and tracking key performance indicators.
• You'll lead cyber incident response readiness and serve as incident commander during major security events, ensuring effective coordination across TUI and our partners.
• You'll enhance our detection and response capabilities through technology optimisation, automation, and process improvements that measurably reduce response times.
• You'll implement a risk-based approach to vulnerability and exposure management across the enterprise, establishing remediation priorities and coordinating with IT teams.
• You'll build and lead a high-performing security operations team while optimising our security tooling portfolio for maximum effectiveness.
• You'll support the CISO with senior executive engagement, translating technical security data into business-relevant insights for leadership.

ABOUT YOU

• You have proven experience in cybersecurity with leadership experience in security operations, building and maturing Security Operations Centres and incident response capabilities.
• You have a strong understanding of the cyber threat landscape and attacker techniques, with experience in detection engineering principles and threat hunting methodologies.
• You have experience with security monitoring tools, SIEM platforms, and incident response procedures, along with knowledge of vulnerability management processes.
• You have the ability to develop and execute a comprehensive security operations strategy, aligning security operations with business objectives and risk appetite.
• You can build and support effective teams while communicating complex security concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences with a collaborative approach to working across functions.
