ABOUT THE JOB

• You'll be part of a cross-functional team providing an AI & Analytics platform for TUI Group, taking full responsibility from design to operation.

• Working with your technical expertise, you'll build and run the AI & Analytics platform while incorporating your machine learning experience to enable our business development teams to work more efficiently.

• We'll rely on your deep knowledge of AWS services (including Sagemaker, Bedrock, EKS, ECS) and monitoring tools like DataDog to create robust, scalable solutions.

• Your role involves helping other teams adopt the platform through direct engagement, ensuring operational readiness and observability of services.

• Continuous improvement is key as you enhance CI/CD pipelines and automation maturity while researching, evaluating and testing new approaches and tools.

• As part of our international, multi-cultural team, you'll actively contribute to Communities of Practice and collaborate on shared initiatives across TUI Group.

ABOUT YOU

• You have experience working with highly available, distributed systems in cloud environments and enjoy defining and rolling out technical operations processes across teams and markets.

• You're passionate about building self-service capabilities for platform consumers and have proven hands-on experience with Amazon Web Services.

• Your knowledge includes CI/CD (preferably GitLab CI) and administration of Kubernetes would be highly beneficial to our team.

• You bring a proven track record in Data Science projects as a Platform Engineer and are customer-centric in your approach to delivering digital products.

• Strong problem-solving abilities coupled with excellent communication skills allow you to translate ideas into outcomes effectively.

• You're comfortable with ambiguity, highly autonomous, and demonstrate an understanding of the social and ethical implications of software engineering.
