ABOUT THE JOB
- You'll lead and manage a team of direct reports to ensure efficient and effective port operations, with a focus on smooth collaboration and coordination across teams.
- Maintaining clear and continuous communication with cruise ships, internal teams, external stakeholders, and Port Authorities is key to facilitating operations.
- We need you to oversee and manage any operational incidents, ensuring minimal disruption to service delivery.
- You'll handle last-minute operational changes at the pier, ensuring that suppliers are promptly informed and prepared.
- Ensuring the appropriate level of staffing and resources to meet the specific needs of each operation falls under your responsibility.
- Managing multiple strategic priorities while overseeing daily logistics is part of what makes this role exciting.
ABOUT YOU
- Proven experience in leading teams to achieve results in port or cruise operations.
- You're comfortable driving change and adaptable to ambiguity or setbacks.
- Strong problem-solving skills with a proactive approach to improving processes and embracing digital solutions come naturally to you.
- You have excellent verbal and written communication skills in English; fluency in a local language is a plus.
- You must hold or be eligible to obtain a valid TWIC card, have a valid driver's license, access to a vehicle, and be available to work weekends and holidays as required.
