ABOUT THE JOB
- Support Product teams when it comes to facilitation, running ceremonies, measuring team performance, maturity.
- Guide and coach Products team to become self-organized, cross-functional and high performance.
- Spend time with shadowing other Scrum Masters to observe other techniques and approaches.
- Be responsible for monitoring the Agile process and provide metrics and KPIs to show progression.
- Facilitate discussion, decision-making, and conflict resolution.
- Assist with internal and external communication, improving transparency, and radiating information.
- Support and coach the Product Owner on Agile/Scrum practices, especially on product backlog and stakeholders management.
- Promote engagement; involve stakeholders as a part of something that is progressing.
- Promote cross-functional collaboration and communication, generating a sense of community and support a shared decision-making power.
- Ensure Feedback-loop between the team and the stakeholders, through the backlog, through the demos, through participation in the team’s discussion about the work.
- Promote trust-building, ensure visibility and commitment helping to understand, rely-upon and ultimately trust the work of the team and the organization.
ABOUT YOU
- Business University degree.
- Experience in playing the Scrum Master role for a software development team or other agile environment applying Scrum principles, practices, and values. Any knowledge of agile techniques and artifacts (such as definition of done, user stories, automated testing, backlog refinement, TDD) is an advantage.
- An open minded person who is willing to learn things and challenge the status quo every day.
- A good team player with great attitude and passion.
- Ability to set priorities, lead projects, develop a work schedule and monitor progress towards goals.
- Ability to track details such as data, budgets, activities and provide project management tools and know-how to the organization.
- Demonstrated communication effectiveness and presentation skills, that convey compelling goals and objectives.
- Strong communication skills in English.
- Good skills and knowledge of facilitation, continuous improvement, empowerment, transparency and servant leadership are advantageous.
- Collaboration skills to work with the product owner, development team, and all other parties, even if those who might not be directly involved with Scrum. Strong stakeholder management skills.
