Joining the TUI Musement Finance Team as GL accountant, you will be reporting to the Accounting Manager Italy assisting in year-end audits and running monthly reports from systems and preparing various analysis and any other tasks required in the accounts department. Also, you will identify risks and opportunities and you will ensure compliance and accuracy to all accounting requirements. Additionally, you will coordinate with various teams and assist in improvement and execution process.

ABOUT THE JOB

 

  • Running the day-to-day accounting operations under the supervision of the accounting manager and in cooperation with local Finance team 
  • Preparation of journal entries and creation of Jira Tickets 
  • Cooperating with Auditors assisting Year-End Audits (Statutory and TAX Audits – TP File) 
  • Submission of various reports to Authorities

 

ABOUT YOU

 

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Finance or Accounting. Master’s degree will be considered an asset 
  • 12 months experience in accounting with a track record of working effectively with large volumes of data 
  • Ability to think and work analytically, including strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail 
  • Drive, resilience and energy and the ability to adapt quickly to changes in priority in a multicultural environment 
  • Excellent English skills, both verbal and written
  • Very proactive, the candidate has the capacity to take initiative and solve problems with minimal supervision 
  • Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to communicate and interact with people at all levels  
  • Proficient computer literacy (Microsoft Office, SAP, HFM). System knowledge in SAP and HFM will be valued
