Paid Search Manager – Shaping the Future of Search

This role is both hands-on and analytical. As Paid Search Manager, you’ll manage end-to-end paid search activities across Google Ads and Microsoft Ads –  from campaign setup and optimisation to budget management and performance insights. Your work will directly influence how millions of travellers find and choose TUI online.

 

You’ll not only deliver results today – you’ll also help shape tomorrow’s search landscape. As AI Overviews, Large Language Models (LLMs) and Agent Visibility redefine how people discover travel brands, this role will be key in securing TUI’s presence and competitiveness in this new era of intelligent search.

ABOUT THE ROLE

 

  • Campaign Development & Implementation: Create, structure and optimise search campaigns based on customer intent, product categories and journey stages.
  • Budget Management & Optimisation: Manage and allocate budgets, monitor CPA/ROAS, and implement bid adjustments across devices, audiences and geographies.Content Optimisation: Test and refine ad copy, implement ad extensions, and work with content teams to boost click-through and quality scores.
  • Performance Analysis & Insights: Analyse search query and keyword data, build regular reports, and translate insights into optimisation and growth strategies.
  • Automated Bidding Management: Implement and monitor automated bidding strategies, testing approaches to find the optimal setup.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with SEO, content and e-commerce teams to ensure an integrated customer journey.
  • Industry Knowledge & Innovation: Stay ahead of platform updates, test new features and formats, and bring fresh ideas to the table.
  • Testing & Optimisation: Design and execute A/B tests for ads, landing pages and bidding, sharing learnings across the team.


ABOUT YOU

 

We’re looking for a data-driven, analytical and forward-thinking search marketer with a passion for exploring the future of how people search, compare and decide.
You’ll bring:


•    3+ years of experience in paid search (Google Ads / Microsoft Ads).
•    Deep understanding of bidding strategies, automation and feed optimisation.
•    Strong analytical mindset and confidence working with large datasets.
•    Curiosity for how AI, LLMs and conversational search reshape marketing.
•    Excellent collaboration and communication skills in English (Nordic language a plus).
•    Relevant academic background — ideally in engineering, data science, or a similar technical/analytical field

Nice to have:


•    Experience from travel, tourism or e-commerce.
•    Google Ads / Microsoft certifications.
•    Understanding of SEO and how it integrates with Paid Search.
•    Familiarity with tracking, tagging and automation scripts.
•    Experience with A/B testing and landing page optimisation.
