The role of the reservations team is to manage the accommodation aspect of our customers bookings, ensuring that they receive the holiday that they have booked. As a reservation executive you will form part of a small team that is responsible for providing accommodation suppliers with all relevant booking details of our customers 7 days a week. This will involve regular contact with overseas suppliers both verbal and written to build relationships that allow for a smooth booking process. 

 

During our peak season from mid-December to mid-April, you'll be required to work alternate weekends (from the comfort of your home), with your days off falling during the week (Monday to Thursday).
 

The successful candidate will join colleagues in our Surbiton office once a week. The closing date for applications will be Tuesday 4th November
 

ABOUT THE JOB
 

  • You will be responsible for ensuring that all our accommodation bookings are communicated to our suppliers, to ensure that our customers get to “Live Happy”
  • Build and maintain excellent external relationships, and be the “go-to” person for our suppliers, ensuring that they can get an accurate and timely response to their queries
  • Responsible for negotiating overbookings and action changes in a timely and accurate manner.
  • Using your excellent product knowledge and strong relationships you will ensure we can find a resolution that not only meets the needs of our customers but is commercially sound for our business.
  • Use your excellent verbal and written communication skills to work effectively with a wide variety of suppliers across multiple destinations – recognising the importance of tailoring your communication to different suppliers
  • You will interact regularly with other parts of the business, in particular our sales and service teams, to allow us to be “makers of happy” for our customers negotiating any special requests with our suppliers, as well as provide any additional information requested by the customer 
     

ABOUT YOU
 

  • Ability to work well under pressure and deliver results in a fast-paced environment.
  • Previous experience of working with third-party suppliers and effectively communicating with them.
  • Problem-solving skills and the ability to find effective solutions in challenging situations.
  • Proficiency in working with spreadsheets and selling systems.
  • High level of attention to detail, ensuring accuracy and quality in all tasks.
  • Strong communication skills, a proficiency in German would be beneficial
  • Strong and inquisitive attitude by nature, with a passion for continuous learning and improvement.
