As a Material Supplier, you'll develop, manage, and improve:

 

All store-related functions – from Goods-In and Despatch to Material Movements and Issuing – ensuring everything runs accurately, compliantly, and efficiently.

You'll report to the Duty Material Supplier. We're looking for two people to join our team: one in a 24/7 shift role and one working morning/evening shifts from Monday to Friday, both averaging 38 hours per week.

ABOUT THE JOB

Goods receiving – You'll receive, check, register, and unpack all incoming deliveries, ensuring everything is received and registered into AMOS in line with EASA regulations. This includes checking paperwork and parts accurately and on time.

Stores activities – You'll store and pick aircraft parts, materials, tools, and equipment safely and efficiently. You'll keep stores tidy, orderly, and secure whilst maintaining the integrity of all stock. This includes keeping unserviceable and serviceable parts segregated, actioning pick-slips to meet deadlines, building part preloads for aircraft hangar inputs, and maintaining inventory accuracy through day-to-day diligence and stock audits.

Goods return – You'll raise orders to return parts to contracted agencies or repair vendors, organising all necessary paperwork and data registration.

Shipping activities – You'll ship spares worldwide, ensuring accurate and timely shipments, including dangerous goods.

You'll also liaise with other departments, attend preload preparation and follow-up meetings, and ensure Supply Chain is aware of and acts upon any shortages.

 

ABOUT YOU

  • Previous experience working in a logistics area (stores and shipping experience would be advantageous)
  • Ability to obtain and hold an airside driving permit, S1 goods-receiving stamp, Dangerous Goods by air certificate, and Forklift licence
  • Good IT skills and knowledge of engineering systems (desirable)
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a constructive manner within a shift rotation system
  • Ability to prioritise your workload and manage multiple tasks without close supervision, with strong attention to detail
  • Ability to follow safety and security procedures
  • Good communication (oral and written) and interpersonal skills
  • Strong business English, both spoken and written (this role may involve some international travel)
